I haven’t read i love dick yet, but ordered it today because of all the tumblr hype, and because of quotes like THIS: “freedom equals panic because without belief there is no language. when you’ve lost yourself to empathy, a total shutdown is the only way back in.”
and I will read it as if I was 14 again, discovering that there are other things in life than what there appears to be, IE passionately, intensely, carefully - the way every text should be read.
